So I recently attended the showbiz expo held in NYC at the Hilton. It was my first time attending such event and I did a little promotion for ActorsConnect.com but I'm sure that goes without saying.

It was good to meet up with some indy people I've worked with and/or taken a class from. I think the expo was very useful and if you haven't attended in the past and you are an entertainer you should consider it at least once. It's good to just get out there and see all the services popping up for actors, models, etc.

Anyone else attend the showbiz expo and have any feedback they'd like to share with the community?

I know several exhibitors were VERY pissed they charged people the day of the event (if they were not pre-registered), that was not a good idea IMO.
They should be trying to keep the $600 & upwards of several thousands of dollar vendors happy by getting as many people as possible.
A great event idea but a weird thing to do as far as limiting those attending
